BUTECH’s Technological Export Initiative to Morocco

Within the scope of the decision titled “5447 Internationalization of Turkey’s IT Sector and E-Turquality (Stars of IT) Program” by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey, ULUTEK Technopark has been implementing the “ULUTEK IT Cluster” Service Sector Competitiveness Enhancement (HİSER) Project since 2017. The project aims to improve firms’ competitive capacity and knowledge base with a cluster approach and help them effectively enter international markets.

As part of the HİSER Project, supported by the Ministry of Trade, ULUTEK IT Cluster (BUTECH) organized a significant trade delegation program to Casablanca, Morocco. During the two-day program, a 22-member BUTECH delegation explored collaboration opportunities with Moroccan companies and visited key institutions in the region to establish vital connections for technology exports.

On the first day of the program, BUTECH member firms held bilateral meetings with Moroccan businesses to present their innovative technological products and services. These discussions focused on the potential of IT and technology-driven solutions in the Moroccan market, paving the way for new collaborations and boosting technology exports.

On the second day, the BUTECH delegation visited prominent institutions in Morocco to gain insights into the local market dynamics, technological infrastructure, and cooperation opportunities. These visits laid the groundwork for strategic partnerships that will strengthen the international competitiveness of BUTECH member firms.
